- I like spice as long as it doesn't overpower the flavor of the dish. Like, as long as it's there to add dimension to the dish and not be the main thing of the dish, I'm good. I can handle spice as long as I have cold water and tissues at the ready.
- Oil-based pastas like Aglio e Olio, Vongolé and Pesto
- Noodles! In soup or stir-fried, I love them eitherway
Snacks
- I like snacks on the salty side and with substance like a chicken caesar salad wrap or a green shake but I do understand that that's bougie and I have to live within my means
- Onion rings, specifically the ones from 8cuts
- I don't usually have popcorn but when I do it's a happy day
Desserts
- Ice cream and froyo > cakes and other pastries. Savory pastries with soft bread are exempt from this statement.
- For froyo, my toppings are usually Filipino mangoes, crushed Graham crackers, crushed Lotus biscuits, Lotus syrup and whatever other fruit I'm feeling eating that day.
- Coffee-flavored ice cream
- Caramel bars. I don't like actual caramel though.
- When I was in uni and I'd fail a test—which was often—I would always go to this restaurant nearby, and I'd order this brownie with vanilla ice cream on top for dessert. It always made me feel better.
- Dark chocolate

- Drinking juice as is. I like to dilute the juice to a 60% water + 40% juice ratio at least or a 70% water + 30% juice ratio at most.

- Mustard, ketchup or standard mayonnaise on anything. The only acceptable mayonnaise is the Japanese mayonnaise, Kewpie.
- Vinaigrette
- Gamey meat or when I can taste that the meat isn't cooked well
- Pickles 🤮
- Bittergourd
- Thick steak or well-done steak. I have such a hard time chewing that.
- Cucumbers as is but if you turn it into a kimchi or maybe add a sauce that masks its natural taste then I will eat it. I kimchify cucumbers and radishes when I can.
- I see Westerners eat celery and carrots raw with ranch and it boggles me
- If I have to eat bread at all, it would have to be really soft because my jaws get tired if I have to chew through hard bread.
- Consuming caffeine and uncooked citrus in the same day because it activates my acid reflux. As much as I can, I only consume one or the other in a day, never both.
- Cheese as the star ingredient of a meal except if it's baked oysters.
- I once had a hotdog then ate peanut brittle afterwards. One of the worst experiences of my life.

- I eat chips/crisps sometimes but I'd prefer I didn't and ate something healthier instead. Because of this, I don't eat snacks most of the time.
Desserts
- Cakes that are too sweet. Anything that's too sweet.
- Chocolate cake
- Chocolate that's not dark chocolate. I do eat chocolate after dinner sometimes when a Balikbayan comes home and gives us some as pasalubong but I'd prefer if I were to eat fruit as dessert instead.
